At almost 50 years old I questioned my identity, my purpose, and my assignment! I felt like because I wasn’t traveling as much as I use to for ministry, because I had not gone back to college for a masters degree or a doctorate degree, because I wasn’t doing conferences or classes, that I did not have any relevance any more 🥹

I started to question everything about my life and the Father has to remind me of who I was IN HIM and what my assignment is in this season of my life!

When we deal with identity crisis in order to feel relevant we start to operate in Performance and not in Purity!

The pressure to perform will kill you, drain you, and keep you in a place of comparison.

Finding peace with purpose will remove the desire to have to prove yourself!

My prayer is that we will live our lives from a pure place and not from a proving place.

OUR BUG graduated from the University Of Houston today!

This girl went through these four years of college like a champion! 💪🏽What I love the most is she was a bold witness on her campus for Jesus Christ! She led a Bible study on campus and she taught the word of GOD to her peers. She managed to stay on the deans list and still came home as often as she could to serve in her local church. She’s a gift! She’s a jewel! She’s a blessing and I’m proud to be her Ma!

Kaya, I love you and I am soo proud of the woman you are, the leader you are, the example you are and the daughter that you are!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Can’t wait to see what’s next!👏🏼🎉
