Today, we honor the men and women who paid the price for our freedom. We know that freedom isn’t free. We pray for their family and friends that are without their loved ones. May they find hope in the love of Jesus.

May God bless America, and may we turn towards His face!

We are so grateful for our Board of Directors!

https://www.rollcalled.org/board

The Board of Directors of Roll Called Ministries is made up of women whose love for the Lord is clearly reflected in their lives. They have proven faithful in both big and small ways, continually showing up with willing hearts to serve, pray, and support the ministry's work. These women seek opportunities to share the Gospel and encourage the women God places in their paths. Through their wisdom, prayers, and guidance, they help shape and direct the mission of Roll Called Ministries as we seek to encourage women to walk confidently in the calling God has placed on their lives. We are deeply grateful for their faithfulness, their love for the Lord, and the many ways they pour into this ministry and the women it serves.

I don’t often post directly about living with a disability because my prayer has always been that this ministry reaches all women. My hope is simply to encourage women to live out their calling, wherever the Lord has placed them.

Lately, though, I have felt a gentle nudge to share a little more about the life I have been given and what it looks like to walk with the Lord in it. Yes, I do choose to say walk purposefully because while I use a wheelchair, I don’t believe that limits my journey with the Lord.

As I open up more about living with cerebral palsy, my prayer is that it points back to Him, to the truth that He is for us, that He is molding us, and that life in Him can be full and even joyful in ways that may not always be seen from the outside
I am looking forward to sharing a bit more honestly. And I am sure there will be some laughter along the way.

If you were raised in church like I was, you may be familiar with the verses known as the Great Commission. Jesus spoke these words to Believers after He rose and before He ascended to the Father. They are commands and actions that we are still called to follow through with today.

But if you are also like me, you may have thought, “Surely God sees my circumstances. He can send someone who is a better speaker than I am.” Or perhaps you thought, “Well… She knows the Bible better than me, so she is the best person to go.” And while all of that may be true, it does not change the fact that you have been called too. You have been equipped in the way that God has revealed Himself to you through His Word and the Holy Spirit.

It will require us to study more, to step out of our comfort zones, and to get into the waters. We will get wet and maybe even a little exhausted at times, but the promise of His presence is all we need.

Yesterday, we celebrated our risen Savior. It can be easy to return to our regular schedules and routines. But may I gently remind our hearts to continue living in the hope of the resurrection of Jesus.

Let us walk each day in that hope, knowing and believing in the fulfillment of His promises.

Happy Resurrection Day! He is risen!

Today, we celebrate more than a moment in history. We declare a victory that is still alive today. Jesus defeated sin and the grave once and for all, covering every sin!. Because of Him, death has no power over those who belong to Christ.

He is alive, and because He lives, we have hope that carries us through every season.

The tomb was made secure. A heavy stone, a strong seal, and a team of soldiers were all in place. Everything seemed final. Then came the silence. That Saturday felt still and uncertain. His words lingered in His followers’ hearts, but it was hard to see beyond the moment. Is the silence meaningless?

Sometimes we live in that kind of silence, when nothing seems to be happening and hope feels distant. But remember, God is working even when it is quiet. It is only the second day. The third is coming, and what happens then changes everything!

On the day Jesus was handed over to be crucified, we call it Good Friday. Some may wonder how believers can call such a horrific event good. As Christ followers, we know there had to be a payment for our sins, and none of us could ever fully pay that price. Because He was without sin, Jesus bore our sin on the cross. By the wounds in His hands, His feet, and His side, we are healed, made whole, and able to live in Him.

Later that day, they took Him and laid Him in a tomb. The day was dark, and all hope seemed lost. But hold on, my friend, because we know Sunday is coming.

Happy Palm Sunday!

Today, I was reflecting on the scene where Jesus rode into the city. The crowds laid down their palm branches and coats because they were celebrating the arrival of their King. They shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David; Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest!”
The same people would turn on Him later in the week and shout for Him to be crucified. Knowing what had to be done and the cost that needed to be paid, Jesus fulfilled the promise of our Father so that you and I could spend eternity with Him.

This is a powerful reminder of how rapidly our feelings can change, while His unwavering love endures.

Today, may we not only celebrate Him as King with our words, but honor Him with our lives.
