As we gathered for our 242nd Baltimore Washington United Methodist Conference, the spirit of GOD was in the hotel. As all walks of life gathered to worship, pray, sing his praises & handle church business, Bishop asked us "How Do You Measure A Life?"We must be rooted in Christ and Love Boldly.

Gloomy Pentacost Sunday but GOD'S spirit warmed the hearts of his children today. Pastor brought us the word from Acts 2:1-4;12 "All Are Welcome."

We will never know how much it cost to see our sins upon that cross. As we gathered today with our red attire on, we were prepared to worship & let GOD have his way. All together in one place, all thinking the same even when the word seems foreign we are welcome in GOD'S house. We need to learn to take care of each other and teach others about Jesus. Each day we should strive to do good work in Jesus name. The Holy word of GOD connects us all. We have the tongue of fire that warms the heart of other as we spread the word of GOD. We have all that we need, just keep our minds stayed on Jesus because "All Are Welcome. "

Cloudy Sunday but the spirit of GOD was in the building today. Yokes were broken, burdens were lifted as GOD moved from heart to heart. Then Pastor fed us the word from John 17: 9-11, "So That We May Be One."

As we learn to let go of our worries and cares, because we know that someone prayed and is praying for you. Just as Jesus is always with us, we too need to carry him wherever we go. Life has many trials & tribulations but it's to strengthen our faith. We won't always agree about everything with everyone but we can rest assure that GOD will see you through. Unity can be hard but with GOD all things are possible. We are never alone even while living in this world that could care less. Jesus never stops praying for us and we must continue to let him know that our faith is stronger than division. We must learn to stay together just like his disciples because he commands us to love. In spite of it all, no matter how dark it may seem, God loves us & prays for us, "So That We May Be One."

Sunny Mother's Day and First Lady brought us the word from Deuteronomy 6:6-7 & Proverbs 31:25-31 "What Can We Learn From Them?"

As the ladies marched around the church with hats of mothers that have gone home, it was a reminder for us to keep pressing forward. We heard stories of their work in the church, but most importantly their faith in GOD. Each day, we should strive to be ready, stay ready so we don't have to get ready when JESUS comes. Everyday day above ground we are blessed and highly favored, so rejoice even when storm clouds come. Our great grand & grand parents paved the way for us, so continue to look to the hills where all our help comes from. When you know better, you need to do better daily. Let go and let GOD fight your battles. Pray and remember the powerful women that have been in your life, pass through your life and/or still in your life and ask yourself "What Can We Learn From Them?"

Cool windy Sunday morning and Pastor reminded us to "Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled. "

As we step into this new month with new blessings, we find ourselves calling out to GOD that we need him more now than ever. So much is going on in the world and in our every day life that it feels like we are walking in darkness. GOD never brings us to anything without having a plan to bring us through it. Keep praying, keep trusting and keep believing through your disappointments and discouragement. Keep following GOD and not what's troubling you. Even when we lose our way, GOD never leaves our side. Say a prayer and let the Holy Spirit lead you. We need to love one another more and "Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled. "
