Belize Mission Trip Update

Our Belize Mission Team has made it safely to the airport in Belize City after an almost four-hour van ride. We are now waiting for our flight to Miami, Florida. From there, we will have a three-hour layover before flying to Charlotte, NC, and then making our way home to Cherryville.

We have had a fruitful and blessed mission trip. Over the past week, we have seen God at work through Bible studies, children’s ministry, church improvements, fellowship, and worship. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside our brothers and sisters in Belize and for all those who have prayed for and supported this mission.

Thank you for praying for our team. Please continue to pray for safe travels as we make our journey home.

This morning, the team will begin their day at the waterfall for a baptism that Pastor Dale will be participating in. After the baptism, everyone will travel back to The Baptist Church where Pastor Dale will share a message along with two other pastors. They will also worship in Music. Following the service, the team will share dinner on the grounds with the church and community.

Pray for the strength of the team today. Pray for the seeds that will be planted and for the ones that will be watered. Pray for salvations and understanding.

Here's the update from Pastor Dale:

Belize Mission Update
Yesterday was a wonderful day of ministry in Belize! We gathered supplies in Punta Gorda and then traveled to the Baptist Church in San Antonio. Rhonda Melton led a ladies’ Bible study for the local women, providing encouragement and sharing God’s Word.

Our team worked hard to prime the interior of the children’s building in preparation for painting. After school was dismissed, we hosted a Vacation Bible School program for the community. Despite a tremendous rainstorm, 82 children attended! We praise God that the weather did not keep them away.

Today, the team will return to San Antonio for another full day of ministry. In addition to repeating many of yesterdays activities, we will host a men’s Bible study and begin painting the children’s building now that the priming is complete.

Please pray for us as we continue to share the Gospel with the people of San Antonio, Belize. Pray that hearts will be receptive to God’s Word and that lives will be transformed through the power of Christ.

Belize Mission Update

Today was a wonderful day of ministry in Belize! We gathered supplies in Punta Gorda and then traveled to the Baptist Church in San Antonio. Rhonda Melton led a ladies’ Bible study for the local women, providing encouragement and sharing God’s Word.

There's a lot going on today. Pray for the team as the temperatures will quickly rise into the 90's and above.

Today, the team will begin painting the children's building that was built last year. They will also be hosting a ladies bible study, VBS, and bible study for the men.

Our mission team met at 3:30 a.m. to begin their journey to Belize. Please keep the entire team in your prayers as they travel today.

The team has successfully completed their first flight and is currently on their second flight of the day. After arriving in Belize, they will still have a four-hour van ride ahead of them before reaching their stay for the week.

Please pray for:

* Safe travels throughout the remainder of their journey.
* Strength and endurance for the long day of travel.
* Good health and positive spirits among the team members.
* A smooth van ride and safe arrival at their destination.
* Restful sleep tonight so they can be refreshed and ready for the work ahead.

Thank you for lifting the team up in prayer as they begin their mission. May God watch over them and prepare their hearts for the ministry that awaits them in Belize. 🙏
