CREW: FEB 10th

Hey, Crew!! The surveys are in, and you are all wanting to BOWL!

We will be going to the bowling alley in Gastonia on 2/10 at 6:30! There is potential for a bus (TBA), and we will let you know asap. This will be a self or family pay event.

We will need to reserve lanes, so please RSVP by 1/25 to Logan Dupree or Katy Beam.

We will bowl first, and then we will have a devotion afterwards! We are excited for our February family fun and fellowship!

Hey CREW!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We are excited for the 2023 CREW Spring Season! We have a couple announcements.

This Sunday, the pastor will be introducing Arianna- our new Children and Family Director. We ask that you be there to greet her, offer encouragement, and most importantly, start praying for her today! We are so excited to welcome her into this new role!

JANUARY 8th - is the next CREW event. We are going to the skating rink. This will be individual/ family pay. We will leave after church, and be there by 1 and skate until 3. Everyone should meet at the rink and is responsible for grabbing lunch before or eating there. It’s up to you! There is a free kids skate coupon (adults and rental fee of skates not included) if you take the time to fill that out. Here is the link.

Hey friends!!

Please be at at the COC by 4:25 to load buses, that will leave at 4:30.

Big thanks to Ron Gunter and Coach Chapman for driving.

You are welcome to wear Christmas pajamas, your festive tacky sweater, or whatever you want! Please keep in mind, we will get out and walk around, so bring a coat, gloves, etc., so you and your kiddos are comfortable in this chilly weather!

Bring a snack for the bus ride and money for Chick-fil-A for dinner on the way back.

We can’t wait to kick off the Christmas week end with CREW. If you are NOT coming for any reason, please text Logan or Katy ASAP as some want to attend but seats are all full.

Happy Birthday, Jesus!! 💚❤️🎄 We are so thankful for Mary Lynn Teague and Bonnie Alexander and all the hard work they have put into these kids and getting them ready for their Christmas Program. Yesterday, they had rehearsal and then a party that was focused on the main person, JESUS! CREW is thankful for the children’s choir ministry!

Hey CREW!

DECEMBER 14th: Caroling at 5:30 - We will leave on church buses from the COC Parking Lot and are partnering with the deacons to spread Christ’s joy and cheer to our shut ins. We will carol for an hour and then return to the church to eat dinner. Please RSVP so we know which bus we need + how much food to prepare for. We will be done by 7:30 that evening.

December 21st: We are going to see the Tryon Christmas lights. Our plan is to leave the church at 4:30, so we can arrive within an hour. Our hope is to be there at 5:30. BIG thanks to Alan Chapman who has agreed to drive the bus for us, so we can enjoy together!

Please bring a snack for the bus. You can bring something for yourself or something to share. We are planning on stopping at Chick-fil-A on the way home to grab a bite to eat together.

RSVP by 12/11 to Logan Dupree or Katy Beam so we can get a headcount and know how many to arrange for. The CREW budget will cover the fee to see the lights, so you’ll just need to arrange $$ for your dinner that night.
