Some seasons feel heavier than we ever imagined.
There are moments when suffering feels stronger than God’s promises. When the diagnosis is real. When loss hurts deeply. When you find yourself saying, “God, I can’t do this anymore.” But friend, hold fast.
It’s not the end. The tomb is empty. Christ is alive. And because Christ lives, our hope can be alive too. Whatever you’re facing today, don’t let go of the hope you have in Jesus. He is still faithful. He is still present. And your story isn’t over.

Sometimes the Word of God doesn’t just challenge what we believe, it reveals what’s happening in us.

This past Sunday, our Creative Pastor, RJ Tate, continued our 1 Corinthians series in Chapter 14 verses 26–40 with a powerful word on unity, confession, and allowing God’s Word to shape our hearts to look more like Jesus.

We can disagree. We can wrestle with Scripture. But we’re called to something greater than quietly holding onto frustration and allowing it to create division.

What would it look like if we sat with the Word long enough to let God identify what needs to change in us?

And what would it look like to use what God has given us…not to tear down, but to build one another up?

In the spirit of humility and vulnerability, RJ gave us permission to share this moment. We pray it encourages you to let the Word challenge you, too.

It’s about the WE, not the ME.
God has given each of us spiritual gifts—not just for ourselves, but to strengthen, encourage, build up, and comfort the whole body.
Your gift matters. But it was never meant to be about you.
When we use what God has given us to serve others, we all get blessed.
The Church isn’t a collection of me’s.
It’s a WE.

You were created for this.
Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, works He already prepared for us to do.
You don’t have to wait for a big platform or a perfect opportunity. When you use the gifts God has given you to serve others, you’re stepping into the good works He’s already prepared.
It’s not about what we can do on our own. It’s about the Holy Spirit working through us.
So use your gifts. Serve someone. Say yes.

Your presence matters.
Maybe you come to church out of habit. Maybe it’s your one hour of peace in a difficult week. Maybe you feel obligated or someone made you come.
But what if gathering together is about something bigger?
When we come together as the people of God, we bring glory to Him. We encourage and strengthen one another. We create space for people to encounter Jesus. God can do all of that at the same time.
So don’t underestimate the power of showing up. Your presence matters.

What if we stopped waiting for the “big” ways to serve God and simply walked with Jesus into the next moment in front of us?
Whether our words are spoken into microphones or near microwaves, they matter when they’re spoken in the power of the Spirit.
God is calling us to be people so in love with Jesus and what He’s done for us that we’re willing to say yes—in the big moments and the ordinary ones.
