Balls were rolling & pins were flying on Saturday, May 2nd, when the 12 adventurous souls showed up at Laurel Lanes for chance to show their prowess.
Although we all had our special moments, there were a couple of stands out.
Vic Rubinson’s approach and release had such style and grace that that they could make the man on top of bowling trophies from him.
Joe Sokolic throws a ball faster than you could run. I believe he threw it for almost 20 miles an hour and on the other side, Marc Richman was so precise and launched his ball at about 8 mph. It was something to watch & watch & watch & watch & watch & watch till it finally hit the pins.
Thanks go out to Bruce and Donna Sperling as well as Robert Talewsky for their support, as they came out to support and cheer us on.
Everybody had a great time with all the shenanigans. There were lots of laughs, lots of strikes (with a great bang) as the pins were exploding along with a lot of gutter balls. And, more ‘Oh Crap’ (I cleaned it up) than we could count!
It was a fun time and look forward to another day like this soon.
