어머니 주일 예배를 함께 드리며, 우리를 사랑으로 길러 주고 삶으로 믿음을 보여 주신 모든 어머니들을 기억하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 남선교회에서는 정성 어린 특송과 따뜻한 식사를 준비해 주셔서 공동체 안에 더욱 깊은 사랑과 섬김의 은혜를 더해 주었습니다. 예배 후에는 요양병원을 방문하여 어르신들과 시간을 보내며 작은 위로와 기쁨을 나눌 수 있었습니다. 누군가를 기억하고 함께 시간을 보낸다는 것은 단순한 행사가 아니라, 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 사랑을 이어 가는 일임을 다시 느끼게 되는 하루였습니다. 우리를 키워 주고, 기다려 주고, 기도해 주었던 손길들을 기억하며, 그 사랑이 오늘 우리의 삶 속에서도 계속 흘러가기를 소망합니다.

On Mother’s Day, we gathered in worship to honor and remember the mothers who nurtured us with love and showed us faith through their lives. The Men’s Ministry blessed the congregation with a special song and a lovingly prepared meal, reminding us again of the beauty of service and community. After worship, we visited a nursing home and shared time with the residents, offering small moments of joy, conversation, and encouragement. It was a meaningful reminder that remembering, honoring, and being present with one another is one of the ways God’s love continues to move through our lives. We give thanks for the hands that raised us, prayed for us, and loved us faithfully, and we pray that the same love will continue to flow through our community.

Mental health matters and many in our community are affected. However, because of the stigma surrounding mental health issues, many go unrecognized, untreated and too many suffer in silence. Last Saturday, Grace Ministry and Unity in Christ UMC came together to challenge ourselves with this very important and urgent issue. We broke bread together, we learned together and we started the conversation of how churches can become a safe and shame-free place for our community, especially our youth. Grateful for Dr. Monica Kim and Rev. Danny Kwon for their dedication to youth mental health, and for Grace Ministry’s Wellness Committee and Unity in Christ UMC’s YES project for supporting this effort! Above all, we give thanks to God for instilling in our hearts a desire to become vessels for healing in a broken world. #한마음교회

부활절 예배 가운데 한마음성가대가 〈예수 부활하셨다〉로 하나님께 찬양을 올려드렸습니다. 부활의 기쁨을 선포하는 찬양과, 부활의 아침에 들려온 주님의 음성을 떠올리게 하는 찬양을 통해, 우리는 다시 한 번 빈 무덤의 소망과 살아 계신 주님의 은혜를 깊이 묵상할 수 있었습니다. 눈물과 혼란 가운데 있던 마리아를 부르시던 주님의 음성은 오늘도 우리를 찾아오시며, 절망의 자리에서 다시 생명과 기쁨으로 일으켜 세우십니다. 이 찬양을 통해 부활의 소망이 우리 마음에 더욱 선명해지고, 살아 계신 주님을 기쁨으로 따라가는 믿음의 걸음으로 이어지기를 소망합니다.

During our Easter worship, Hanmaum Choir offered the anthem, “Jesus Has Risen”. Through this song, we were invited to proclaim the joy of the resurrection and to remember the voice of the risen Lord on Easter morning. Just as Jesus called Mary in her grief and confusion, the risen Christ still comes to us today, meeting us where we are and lifting us into new life and hope. May this song renew Easter joy in our hearts and lead us to follow the living Lord with deeper faith.

부활절 Egg Hunt도 즐겁게 잘 마칠 수 있었습니다. 날씨가 좋지 않아 실내에서 진행하게 되었지만, 아이들은 그 안에서도 기쁘게 참여하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 예상과 다른 방식이었지만, 함께 웃고 뛰어다니며 부활절의 기쁨을 나눌 수 있었던 것만으로도 감사한 시간이었습니다. 장소보다 더 중요한 것은 함께하는 기쁨과 공동체의 사랑임을 다시 느끼게 되었습니다. 실내에서도 밝은 웃음과 설렘으로 가득 채워 준 모든 아이들과 가정에 감사드립니다.

We were also grateful to enjoy our Easter Egg Hunt together. Although the weather did not allow us to be outside, we were able to move the event indoors and still have a joyful time. The children participated with excitement, laughter, and plenty of energy, filling the space with Easter joy. Even though things did not go as originally planned, it was a reminder that what matters most is the joy of being together and the love shared in community. We are thankful for all the children and families who made the day so special.

부활절 주일, 우리는 함께 모여 예수 그리스도의 부활을 기뻐하며 예배드릴 수 있었습니다. 죽음을 이기시고 다시 살아나신 주님을 찬양하며, 소망과 생명의 복된 소식을 다시 마음에 새기는 시간이었습니다. 예배 후에는 함께 친교를 나누며 부활의 기쁨을 공동체 안에서 더욱 풍성하게 누렸습니다. 함께 예배하고, 함께 식탁을 나누며, 서로의 얼굴을 마주할 수 있었던 것이 큰 은혜였습니다. 부활의 소망이 우리의 일상 가운데도 계속 살아 움직이며, 우리 공동체를 더욱 사랑과 기쁨으로 세워가기를 소망합니다.

On Easter Sunday, we gathered together in worship to rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we praised the risen Lord who conquered death, we were reminded again of the good news of hope and new life. After worship, we shared a time of fellowship and celebrated the joy of Easter together as a community. It was a gift to worship together, share a meal, and enjoy one another’s presence. May the hope of the resurrection continue to live in our daily lives and build up our community with love and joy.

[ 성 금요일 예배 Good Friday Service ]

내일(4월 3일)은 예수님께서 십자가에 달리신 '성 금요일(Good Friday)'입니다.

제자들의 발을 씻기시고 떡과 잔을 베푸신 오늘(성 목요일)의 시간을 보낸 뒤, 예수님은 고통과 두려움이 가득한 십자가를 향한 고난의 밤을 맞이하셨습니다.

우리를 위한 그 희생과 사랑을 기억하며, 성 금요일 예배의 자리로 나아오시기 바랍니다.

* Good Friday Service는 St.Andrew's UMC와 함께 합니다.

고난주일 예배 가운데 성가대가 〈거기 너 있었는가〉로 찬양을 올려드렸습니다. 십자가 앞에 머물러 주님의 고난을 다시 바라보게 하는 이 찬양은, 익숙한 이야기를 넘어 우리의 마음을 깊이 울리며 예수님의 사랑과 희생을 묵상하게 했습니다. 사순절의 끝자락에서 우리는 주님의 십자가가 단지 과거의 사건이 아니라 오늘 우리의 삶을 붙들고 변화시키는 은혜임을 다시 기억합니다. 이 찬양이 우리 모두에게 고난주간을 더욱 경건한 마음으로 준비하게 하고, 주님의 사랑 앞에 겸손히 서게 하기를 소망합니다.

During worship on Palm Sunday, our choir offered the anthem “Were You There.” This moving song invites us to stand at the foot of the cross and reflect more deeply on the suffering, love, and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. As Lent draws near to Holy Week, we are reminded that the cross is not only a story from the past, but the living grace that still holds and transforms us today. May this anthem prepare our hearts for Holy Week and lead us to worship with deeper gratitude and reverence.
