This morning we learned the candy corn poem. The white represents our sin, the orange is the biggest part of the candy corn, and it represents the HOPE Jesus gives us every day we pray, and the yellow represents Heaven. We also did their handprints to remind our kids that they were each handpicked by God.

We would like to share our Wednesday night activities! For the last 2 Wednesday nights, we have been teaching the Pumpkin Gospel and how to be a light just like Jesus! We had 2 great lessons. The first was about taking the pumpkin and removing all the yucky insides, which represents sin in our own lives. The kids scooped out all the yucky and cleaned their pumpkins. We talked about Jesus making us new. Tonight, we put little lights in our pumpkins and talked about how our light shines so that other people can see Jesus in us!
