As the leaves change colors, we discover how God is always at work! 🍂
This Wednesday, we’re looking at green leaves and learning how Jesus gives us new life! Through Psalm 23, we'll learn what it means to follow Jesus by turning away from the ways of the world, trusting Him, and embracing the new life He offers us.

Barton Youth Sundays are a great opportunity to slow down and go deeper into scripture than we get to on Wednesdays. We've been following along with Bro. Tyler's sermons through 1 John, which has given us better clarity of the scripture in both a class and a sermon perspective. Join us this Sunday at 9:30am as we continue our deep dive into 1 John.

1 John | Week 6
We are living in the last hour, a time Scripture describes as marked by spiritual deception, false teaching, and opposition to Christ. In 1 John 2:18–29, John warns us of the dangers of spiritual deception and the importance of remaining grounded in the truth. As the world wages war against the truth of Christ, believers must recognize the lies, reject false teaching, and stand firm in their faith. Join us this Sunday as we study The War of Worlds and discover how to live with unwavering confidence in Christ.

It's been a busy week on God's team! 🏆🍕
Yesterday, we had the opportunity to serve pizza to a local special needs softball team, and tonight we sported our favorite team gear at church!⚾🏈
We've had so much fun showing our team spirit, serving others, and putting God's love into action. What a blessing it is to be a part of God's team!

Team Night🏈🏀
Tomorrow night, we’ll sport our favorite team and learn that when we put God first, we can trust the victory is His! We’ll hear how Jehoshaphat and his army faced a huge battle in 2 Chronicles 20—and how God fought for them. Just like Jehoshaphat, we can trust God in every battle we face!

Barton Youth | Life Choices
Life choices will dive deeper into several issues and choices teenagers regularly face. Our goal is to help students to deal with these issues biblically and empower them to help others who may be facing the same struggles. Each week, we'll continue meeting in Groups with Real Talk, Scripture, Application, & Prayer. We'll also come together as a whole group around God's word to be strengthened and encouraged to take what we're learning beyond the youth room walls to —Breathe. in all that God gives &Live. as Christ in this world.

God is really working in and through us right now. Come Plant. Root. Grow. Bear. —TOGETHER.

Life Choices begins October 14th at 6:30PM!

1 John | Week 5
What does your life say about your faith? And when your story is finished, what will it have left behind?

John reminds us in 1 John 2 that our faith shapes who we are, where we are, and where we are headed. Christ changes our identity, transforms the way we live, and gives our lives a purpose that reaches beyond ourselves.

This Sunday, we will look at what it means to lead a life of faith and how we can leave a legacy of faith for the people who come after us. Because one day, a story will be told about your life. What will your story say?
