Congratulations to Earl Ammons, Inpatient Technician – Analenisgi Inpatient, for being selected as the recipient of the Guiding Principle One Award for 3rd quarter of 2025-2026.
The Guiding Principle One award ᎤᏩᏒᎤᏓᏅᏖᎸ (u wa shv u da nv te lv), “The One Who Helps You from the Heart,” calls for a genuine and evident commitment to the best interest of this community by providing care and/or services from the heart. The employee selected for this quarter’s award will hold on to a 7.5-inch clear trophy, accented with red writing and a heart engraving, and will receive a monetary award.
Earl Ammons consistently embodies ᎤᏩᏒᎤᏓᏅᏖᎸ, "The One Who Helps You from the Heart," through his selfless service, dependability, and genuine care for both patients and coworkers. He approaches every task with kindness, professionalism, and a willingness to help, making him a valued teammate and a trusted source of support on the Analenisgi Inpatient Unit.
What sets Earl apart is his commitment to serving others without hesitation or expectation of recognition. If he sees a need, he steps forward to help. Whether assisting patients, supporting coworkers, or helping other departments, Earl consistently goes beyond the responsibilities of his position to ensure those around him have what they need to succeed.
One example frequently noted by his coworkers is his willingness to assist when EVS is short-staffed. Rather than overlooking work that falls outside of his role, Earl voluntarily helps clean rooms, mop floors, remove trash, and complete other tasks necessary to keep the unit operating smoothly. He does so simply because he knows the work needs to be done and because he genuinely cares about supporting his team and the patients they serve.
Beyond his strong work ethic, Earl is known for his integrity, compassion, and respect for others.
