We are saddened by the news of this latest shooting in Parkland Florida. We lift all those who are injured and those who have died to the Throne of Grace. We pray for all the families who have lost loved ones and for those who care for the injured.
Despite these horrific events, God reigns.

His own Son Jesus was lifted up in sight of the whole world. He submitted to the agony and disgrace of the cross which at that time was designed to break the heart and soul of anyone subjected to its horror.

And He did it for all of us. He knew how craven and molevolent mankind could and would be. Even so, He stood in our place. He paid the price only He could afford. We would never be able to satisfy the demand of judgment. Only Christ was able. Only Christ was willing. In the end, there is only Christ.

Lord God your lamp is needed in this present time. Lift it up so we may see a way forward. Let us know your will for us, Lord Christ. I want more, we want more!
