GARDEN ENCOUNTER 4/7/22

As we entered The Garden to meet with God, the wind was blowing and the Lord spoke, "The wind is an emblem of the Holy Spirit. The wind of the Spirit is blowing." The worship set that was playing was saying, "It is finished. It is done." I looked up into the sky and there was one small cloud with the sun shining on it. As the wind blew, the cloud separated and disappeared. This is what the "Son" (sun) and the "Spirit" (wind) are doing in our lives - shining on the places that need to be removed in our lives and sending the spirit to remove them.

The wind is blowing the chaff off the wheat. What is not useful in our lives, the spirit of God is removing where all that remains is what is useful for Him and His kingdom.

As the 120 disciples were in the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost, the spirit came as a "rushing mighty wind" as they were empowered and FILLED with the spirit giving them BOLDNESS to spread the Gospel with signs, wonders, and miracles to show the power of God.

The WIND of the Spirit is blowing!

Return to Eden

Take a journey back to the garden path away from the thorny briars and dark woods, back to the garden where it all began. A pilgrimage to the beginning, to the promise, to the encounter, and revisiting the foundations of relationship, intimacy, identity, and the call. It’s time to revisit our foundations and restore our wonder.

Intimacy with Jesus CHANGES EVERYTHING❤️

This crisis doesn’t mean our faith doesn’t work—this is what our faith is for!

Kenneth Hagin did not get his revelation of the faith message during an economic boom. He got it in the depths of the Great Depression. Hagin saw faith intervene in a time of grinding poverty.

Alexander Dowie didn’t launch his healing ministry when divine healing was all the rage. He did it after the bubonic plague killed 40 members of his church. After he launched his healing ministry, no one else died in his church, and an international ministry was born.

I remember when circumstances and outward appearances caused a great evangelist I knew to back off from an important part of his message. Over dinner he told me, “Mario, the poverty was so great in the Philippines that I couldn’t preach prosperity.” I corrected him by asking, “Would you also not preach healing because they were too sick?”

Don’t you dare throw tomorrow away! Joshua 3:5 is your verse: “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will work wonders among you.”

"We need to keep our hearts like we keep a garden. In starting a garden, we drop the plow blade and tear the ground up in preparation for the time when we will let God take over.
We get out all the rocks and remove other debris. We plant our seeds and start watering our potential garden. As the plants begin to grow, so do the w**ds. We must not put off the need for w**d-pulling. Our repentance must be immediate each time we see a w**d of sin emerging. It is our responsibility to get out there and pull those w**ds. If we don't, they will get bigger and bigger and bigger, and all of a sudden they will take over the crop we wish to produce. For you not to keep your heart like a garden is very dangerous It takes time to cultivate; it takes time to w**d; it takes time to diligently and daily seek the Lord and to allow the Holy Spirit to show us where the w**ds are so that can get in there and pull them out."
