We are well equipped to make any camper's summer a great one! Mother of Hope Camp provides young people with the opportunity to grow physically, socially, and spiritually in a Catholic community under the guidance of a trained and caring staff. We offer a broad range of recreational, educational and spiritual activities every day. In all that we do, our Catholic faith plays an integral role. Our mission statement summarizes how faith shapes and informs the distinctive camp experience we offer: Mother of Hope Camp invites people of all ages to encounter Jesus Christ in prayer and sacrament, and to develop a sense of awe and wonder in the grandeur of God's creation. Mother of Hope is a safe, fun and vibrant Catholic community where campers and staff alike are challenge to more deeply know, love and serve God and neighbor. Here at Mother of Hope, we recognize that often our campers come back to our camp because it is fun. And it is fun because here, young people forge stable and life-giving relationships in the context of faith. Aside from the weekly Celebration of Mass and daily prayer, campers are exposed to many opportunities to foster and deepen their knowledge and love of God. Even campers who do not share our Catholic faith still benefit from the nurturing and loving community that is Mother of Hope Camp. The witness provided by our staff-through the way they live, pray, work and play together-undoubtedly has a positive effect on all of our campers, regardless of their religious background.
