Vacation Bible School kicks off on Monday at St. Paul’s. The theme, Tropical Trek, focuses on this verse from Luke. Jesus isn’t our passive savior; He came seeking you! He died on the cross to save each of us! How wonderful a message to share!

If you haven’t already, make plans to bring your kids to VBS each day next week, 9:00-11:45 A.M. And we are so excited to share that The Dwelling Place will be open during those hours for parents to drop in for a cup of coffee, socialize and visit with each other, and dig into the Word with the great resources The Dwelling Place has available!

The Dwelling Place will be open next week during VBS at St. Paul’s!

Come grab a cup of coffee, relax, and enjoy some quiet time while the kids are busy learning and having fun. We’ll also have resources available with the daily VBS lessons and suggested questions to help keep the learning and conversations going at home.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the brave men and women who gave their lives to protect our freedom. Bless their families, and help us to always live lives worthy of the sacrifices made for us.

When you are anxious or worried, how do you seek the Lord? In these verses, we are told to turn to God “by prayer and petition” and with “thanksgiving.” But when we are in a valley season of life, that isn’t always easy. Today, Washington, D.C. will be filled with joy as Rededicate 250 takes place. Rededicate 250 is a national day of prayer, praise, and thanksgiving on the National Mall, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. It is a historic gathering to thank God for His providence, reflect on our nation’s story, and rededicate America as One Nation Under God.
