We were saddened to hear of the passing of Dick Howell. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

One of the markers we worked on today belongs to Daniel (1822-1881) and Maria E. (1825-1900) Quick.

Not much information can be found on Maria at this time. However, it appears that Daniel was a cooper who had worked in Pennsylvania and New York.

Together the couple had four children (William, Oliver, George, and Margaret "Jennie").

We hope that we can connect some of these "forgotten" monuments with living relatives one day. For now, we'll honor them with some research and a little snippet of what we find out about their lives.
