The sin of self-pity reduces the life we have in Christ to being a victim and reduces Christ to being a nanny that we complain to.
Remember, you are a new creation in Christ, more than a conqueror, with a faith in Jesus that overcomes the world. Don't let circumstances, fear or even nasty people convince you to play the victim.

One is out in the open and instantaneous; the other is the slow grind of confession ("I need you Jesus") and repentance ("I give my life to you Jesus') as you WALK OUT THIS LIFE with Him. Then one day He'll say "Let's not go back to your house, but let's go to My house." And in the twinkling of an eye, you'll be completely changed. Trust & Abide; you are a miracle in progress!

Thank you to everyone who loved on our staff yesterday as we kicked off our meetings.
We had breakfast provided by the Bank of Commerce, lunch cooked and served by the First Christian Church, cinnamon rolls from RCB, dinner provided by the pastor at Clearview Church, teas provided by Dragon Nutrition, and delivered by Mrs. Waldron's husband.
Elementary teachers even received a blessing from the Chelsea Alumni Association.
Thank you, EVERYONE, FOR CARING ABOUT US.

Are you saved FROM hell or are you saved FOR Christ? Both are answered "yes", but one reveals a deeper purpose, a more profound movement TOWARDS.

The life we live in Christ is not about escaping judgment, but experiencing the joy and beauty of Jesus, leaning hard into walking with Him and adoring Him as Lord.
