We made it to the last day of the June Summer Day Camps! This has honestly been the smoothest and best first two weeks we've ever had. Thank you to everyone who has helped. Volunteers, counselors, lifeguards and parents. Jesus was Made Known for sure.

We are exhausted physically, but energized spiritually.

It is officially halftime for summer day camp 2026. See you guys in July for the final two weeks!

We hit the jackpot this year when we added sweet Ella Cauley to the Hargis Christian Camp team. She has been the biggest blessing. A true gift to summer day camp. Her heart for kids shows every day!

Hargis Christian Camp Summer Day Camp Week 2/ Day 2 was hot! 🔥 🌞

Slip-N-Slide Kick Ball made an appearance and Capture The Counselor showed up for the 2nd year. The kids LOVE both of these.

Fun was had, friendships formed, memories etched, and Jesus was Made Known!

Every week we have a special guest at summer day camp who comes out to talk to the kids. Today we had our own Barry Nobles share with the children. He is a champion BMX rider and lives right here in Westover. He talked about getting into riding, and the ins and outs of competing. After fielding questions from the kids and showing off some hardware, he did some really cool interactive things. He raced two of our counselors (they got a massive head start), Wood and Tad. Then he jumped over 3 of them.

We appreciate Barry and the whole Noble family coming out to spend some time with us today. The kids had a blast!

Our nurse for the week was Nurse Suzanne Brown. She was more than a nurse this first week, though. You could find her at carpool, at crafts and definitely in her nurses office. She wore many hats and did a fantastic job as usual!
