Sometimes the biggest prayer request for a church plant isn't about what's happening inside the church, but finding a place where the church can gather and go out into the community.

Michael and Sheri Wright are planting Abide Church in Dover, Delaware, and right now, they're asking God to provide a new place to call home.

Their current location has become increasingly difficult to use consistently on Sundays, so they're praying for a space they can lease or own that will allow Abide Church to keep growing and reaching their community.

Would you pray with them?

💙 Pray God will provide the right location at the right time.

💙 Pray for more deacons and elders to be raised up, equipped, and ready to serve and lead.

💙 Pray that Abide Church would grow deeper in dependence on God—learning to seek Him, trust Him, and wait on Him in all things.

💙 Pray for a greater burden and boldness to reach the lost in Dover.

💙 And pray that more of the people they are intentionally praying for and reaching would come to saving faith in Jesus.

A building would give them a place to gather.

But their greatest prayer is for more people to find a place in Christ.

Charles 1 loved God, his country, family, and kids. He was a soldier, a father, friend, and, most important of all; a Christian.

His sweet spirit, sense of humor, enormous heart for giving, patriotism, and uninhibited expressions of love will be achingly missed at BHBC.

Charles 2's efforts and determination to take care of his dad, and get him to church every time it was possible allowed us so much more time with him and we are deeply grateful to him for sharing his dad with us and going the extra mile(s) to do that.

We will see you again Charles 1 When We All Get to Heaven.

➡️ Jorge shared that what his church needs most right now is prayer and encouragement from fellow believers.

Would you take a moment to pray for them today?

🙏 Pray that they would remain steadfast, courageous, and full of grace.
🙏 Pray that every act meant to discourage them would instead strengthen their resolve to make Christ known.
🙏 Pray that hearts throughout their community would be transformed by the love of Jesus.

Church planting has never been easy. But from the earliest days of the Church, God has faithfully sustained His people, and He is still doing it today. 👏

Annie Armstrong understood that every believer has a part to play in making Jesus known. Through prayer, giving, and going, we join God in His work of reaching people with the hope of the gospel.

Today, you can be a co-worker with God.

Pray for missionaries who are faithfully serving in communities across North America. Pray for opportunities to share the gospel, for hearts to be open to the message of Christ, and for lives to be transformed.

Because when we join together, God uses every prayer and every gift to fuel the Great Commission.

Well, BHBC is starting another season. We will be seeking a new pastor (spread the word).

Bro. Noah Baker began a revival in the short time he was with us and we plan to continue that! We wish him, Haylee, and sweet Owen the VERY best, and know that he will bless anyone who hears him.

Starting off today with our former pastor Brother Thom!!!
