The Lutheran House at Chautauqua

The Lutheran House at Chautauqua A Lutheran presence for fellowship and worship at Chautauqua Institution. On-site living facilities at a reasonable weekly rate.

The Weekly program includes: Sunday Eucharist, Tuesday Afternoon Social,
and Thursday evening worship. A place of hospitality and lodging governed by the Lutheran Chautauqua
Association Board of Directors. Accommodations include:
- A large central gathering area with TV and wireless Internet access.
- Two comfortable and shaded porches for rest, relaxation and conversation.
- 13 Guest Rooms, i

ncluding single, double and queen beds. Each room has its
own sink, ceiling fan and window fan. Shared bath and shower/tub facilities are
located on each of the three floors.
- A fully equipped modern kitchen, including two stoves, microwave ovens, and
cooking utensils with ample room for food preparation.
- Cupboard & refrigerator storage is allotted for guest's dry and refrigerated food.
- A community dining room with ample tables and chairs, dishes and flatware.
- A weber grill is located just outside the kitchen door.
- The Lutheran House participates in recycling!

Lutheran House Summer 2023 reservations open for all Lutherans on January 1!
The Lutheran House now has an online reservation system. Not only is your reservation confirmed when you make it, you can also choose your room. No more waiting for weeks to find out if you got your preferred week or if you are on the second or third floor.

Reservations for all Lutherans opens on January 1, and for anyone on February 1.

'Twas the end of the season
and all through the (Lutheran) House,
not a creature was stirring…

except for the squirrel that has been darting in and out of the house all summer. Even as the house was being closed up for the season, she made one last dash in through the door, then out through a window.
I wonder if she’ll be waiting for us when we all come back next year?
