Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the holy season of Lent, a time when the church marks a period of repentance, fasting, and self-examination, and a time where those new to the community of the church prepared for the sacrament of baptism. This year, Ash Wednesday falls on February 18, and Grace will hold services of Holy Eucharist and the imposition of ashes at Noon (spoken word service) and at 7:00 PM. (choral service) - join us!

It's a little snowy and quite cold out, but the roads look clear around the church. We will meet tomorrow on our regular schedule (8:00am and 10:45am). Be careful out there, and hold fast to what is good!

Out of concern for the safety of our community, along with an awareness of the fact that our city and parish do not have abundant resources for clearing roads, parking lots and sidewalks, we will not be holding in-person services at Grace this Sunday, January 25. Community Breakfast, choir rehearsal, and Christian Formation classes are also suspended for this Sunday.
