Grace Episcopal Church Grace is a joyful, affirming Episcopal community rooted in the love of God and all of God’s creation.

Grace is a loving and welcoming church in the heart of Chattanooga. If you're looking for a faith based community that loves and respects all of God's creation, you've found the right place. We are not your typical church, and we invite you to find out why! From June 18th through August 6th, we have a single Sunday service at 10am, with formation for adults and children beginning at 9am.

God's love for each of God's children is endless and all-encompassing.
Diversity, including diversity of gender and sexual orientation, is a beautiful, integral part of God’s creation.
God has called you good.
It is in this spirit that Grace Episcopal Church and our neighboring Episcopal churches welcome you to Chattanooga's Pride Mass, a celebration that honors all LGBTQ+ people as the children of God. This worship service will include holy communion and scripture readings and prayers that speak of God's love for LGBTQ+ people.
Join us on Sunday, October 18, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Grace Episcopal Church.
Come and take your place at the table.

From now until September 27th, Love, Period of Chattanooga is collecting donations of individually wrapped, unscented pads and tampons. Guests of the Grace Pantry benefit from this ministry, as do students at many local public schools. The goal is to receive 40,000 items! Help us reach that goal by donating products (There’s a collection box in the Narthex on Sundays, which will be moved inside the door to the parish offices during the week), or by donating monetarily. $20 will buy 100 period products.

Merciful God, you blessed your servant Dolly Parton with a voice that echoed the songs of angels and a glittering heart open to the great diversity of humankind. Grant us vision and generosity, that following her example, we may walk a gracious path of faithful service to you and for our neighbors' good; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

THANK YOU to all who have helped make the new Community Fridge a reality!

In addition to helping to feed our neighbors in a time when grocery prices are rising, community fridge efforts help reduce food waste and related environmental issues. This fridge is a collaboration with Community Pantry Collective and Seed Theatre, and numerous volunteers from throughout the region.

Though we are not the only organization responsible for stocking the fridge, anyone at Grace is welcome to place donations in the fridge, which is located near the handicap entrance in the Brainerd Road parking lot.

Join us Sunday morning after the service as we bless and stock our new Community Fridge!

"You send forth your Spirit, and they are created;
and so you renew the face of the earth" Psalm 104:31

Today we remember and celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit that sends us forth to witness God's transforming power in community, justice and love.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the holy season of Lent, a time when the church marks a period of repentance, fasting, and self-examination, and a time where those new to the community of the church prepared for the sacrament of baptism. This year, Ash Wednesday falls on February 18, and Grace will hold services of Holy Eucharist and the imposition of ashes at Noon (spoken word service) and at 7:00 PM. (choral service) - join us!
