Notes for today's service: Nehemiah faith comes from a strong belief in 3 things about God:
1. The God who calls gives courage, wisdom, and directions V1-3
2. The God who directs also equips and provides V4-8
3. The God who provides also protects V9

Good morning, Saints of God! What a great day we have been given - we Praise God for this day - come and Worship with the believers in the sanctuary. We're waiting on YOU!

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—
and this not from yourselves . . . (Ephesians 2:8 NIV)
Three great gospel words: “saved,” “grace,” and “faith” enrich us with their awesome reality. These words are often used in Christian circles, but the misuse of them over time may have made them seem threadbare. Yet they are rich with meaning and purpose. “Saved” means that we’re rescued from perishing. “By grace” is the means by which we’re saved from imminent peril: we have been delivered by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. We’re not saved from our sins by weeping, works, nor personal piety; but “by grace we are saved.” But what is grace? Its primary meaning is “favor shown to the utterly undeserving.”

Nehemiah 1:4-11

Good morning all Saints of God! What awesome morning this is, we're up rejoicing that things are well as they are. We just want to Praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He's so worthy to be praise, come let gather together and Praise Him!!

Christ steps down as God to become man, but then He steps up in resurrection. Our Lord’s exaltation began with His resurrection. When men buried the body of Jesus, that was the last thing any human hands did to Him. Men had done their worst to the Savior, but then God highly exalted Him. Indeed, the resurrection of Christ should not be celebrated only once a year on Easter or once a month with the Lord’s Supper. Jesus is up every day. The reality is that Christ got up, and even more than that, Christ stayed up.

Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him. (Philippians 2:9)
