Ekklesia - A Christian Fellowship

Ekklesia - A Christian Fellowship Rooted and Grounded in Love. Come as you are! All ages, genders, orientations are genuinely welcome. Our service begins at 10am and lasts for about an hour.

Dress comfortably (i.e. no suits and floppy hats required but you’re welcome to them). Plan to show up a little early to get settled in and get to know one another. We will have coffee, tea, water, and the occasional snack to go with it. Take a look at the host home information below for particulars. Our liturgy will be pretty much the same as it has been for years. Welcome & Announcements

What is August looking like for Ekklesia?

Starting off strong by taking care of our people and our building by closing the building this weekend (Aug 3rd) to allow some time for things to dry out after an AC leak this past week. We will be holding our Contemplative service in a community member’s home, if you would like more details, feel free to DM us or email us at [email protected].

Wednesday, August 6th, we will meet together on Zoom to celebrate and lean into the seasonal shifts of First Harvests- Lughnasadh or “Lammas”. If you would like more info on this, a DM or email will further that conversation.

Sunday, August 10th will be one of our weeks for worship and preaching. Singing and listening with each other is a practice we hold close.

Sunday, August 17th will be Brunch Sunday, bring a dish to share and we will sit around tables discussing the text.

Sunday, August 24th will be another week of worship and preaching. Come sing and listen to the Divine with us.

Sunday, August 31st, we will not be holding service. Sometimes, we decide as a community that we would be better served by allowing more space and rest. This is one of those times. May the Rest of Goddess be with you.
