Some days at the cemetery will surprise you. A sweet woman (vendor friend) came in and we talked a bit. Then she took me by the hands and prayed with me and I knew God sent her my way today for an affirmation of something that's been on my mind. Thank you Sheila for stopping in! 🥰

Cooler weather finally! The crew is working hard as usual, and the cemetery looks amazing. Everyone have a blessed Sunday and enjoy the nicer air!

Apparently someone in a stolen vehicle ran off the road at the cemetery today and took out 50 feet of our recently repaired fencing, then hit a telephone pole and abandoned the car. Please excuse the unsightly destruction of the fencing at front of the cemetery. We were so pleased that the cemetery was in nicely trimmed shape for Mother's Day and then this happened. We will fix the fence as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding. The entrance gate was not affected and will be open for visitors. We appreciate your prayers. Thank you! Happy Mother's Day!
As always, when you see the maintenance crew, tell them you appreciate the hard work they do to keep the gardens looking so nice.

So....bad storms took its toll again in our beautiful cemetery. There are several huge trees down in four separate gardens. They are being cleaned up today and tomorrow. It's a huge job and can be dangerous for our visitors so we will close the gates in order to keep visitors safe. When the work is completed we will reopen for visitors. Expect it to be done by Friday or Saturday this week. We will post again when we reopen. You can still call the office for location information, or if you need services or any other concerns. Office hours will be maintained.

Happy Memorial Day! Flags available for the taking. Look for box at end of rock wall as you come in the cemetery. 🇺🇸

Rain rain rain ☔️ ☔️☔️☔️ This year has been a bear! Please have patience as we try to keep up with the weeding and mowing. As usual we have a terrific crew that works very hard to get it all done. They also service burials and install markers to make everyone happy. If you're inclined to call the office to inform us that the grass is getting long, we are aware. We cannot run mowers on all these hills when it's soggy wet. Thank you for understanding and know that eventually all the gardens will get caught up, as they always do every Spring. Thank you for your patience!

UPDATE: City crew just arrived to clear the trees that have been blocking the entrance. Praise God! Thank you everyone for your patience in this matter. Give them a day to finish and ensure safety upon entering the cemetery.

New Update: city of Chattanooga said there are a lot of downed trees in the city. We have to be patient. 😳 Please pray with us today that they will get to our cemetery asap. Thanks!

Update on gate blocked by downed trees from Saturday's storms: City is going back and forth and trying to get Public Works to come and clear the trees so we can open our gate to the cemetery. Please be patient as this gets resolved. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
