Esther is a story of unexpected reversals—moments when everything changes direction. And the same God who worked behind the scenes in Esther is still at work today.

Maybe life feels stuck. Maybe hope feels hard to find. Maybe you’re not even sure what you believe about God.

But what if He isn’t finished authoring your story?

You don’t have to have it all figured out to take one step toward hope. God may be doing more than you can see.

What if the parts of Haman’s story (in Esther 5-6) that make us cringe are closer to home than we’d like to admit?

We may not struggle with his level of power or pride, but the seeds can be there: the need for recognition, approval, control, security, or being seen as important.

The good news is that Jesus doesn’t wait for us to clean ourselves up before He meets us. He meets us in our sin, shame, and need—and offers grace, rescue, and new life.

What are you tempted to make ultimate—something more important than God?

We often wonder if our lives have a bigger purpose. Esther 4 reminds us that God may be using the ordinary places, relationships, and seasons of our lives for something far more significant than we realize.

Maybe God has already placed you exactly where you are—with your coworkers, neighbors, friends, family, and opportunities—to love others, serve faithfully, and take a step of courage.

You don’t have to see the whole plan to be faithful with the moment in front of you.

And ultimately, Esther points us to someone greater: Jesus, who willingly gave Himself for us so that we could have new life.

Our faithful God keeps His promises, strengthens us in times of fear and doubt, and teaches us to be faithful—even in the smallest things.

This month, we’re especially praying for new believers: that more souls would be rescued, that new Christians would have wisdom to recognize the enemy’s snares, and that mature believers would surround them with meaningful discipleship and encouragement.

What do we do when the world feels dark, confusing, or out of control?

Esther reminds us that God is often working behind the scenes—even when we can’t see Him or understand what He’s doing.

We may face real darkness, opposition, and fear, but we don’t have to face them without hope. Through Jesus, we can rest in who God is, trust His strength, and live with courage because His victory is greater than anything we face.

When you can’t see what God is doing, you can still trust who He is.
