Congratulations to our Ruling Elder, Dr. Wescher, and these students for this accomplishment!

This semester, Margot Kapic '27, Michael Mawhinney '27, and Dr. Lance Wescher were awarded the Hatfield Prize from the Center for Public Justice.

Each year, the Hatfield Prize is given to three Christian student-faculty pairs who execute a research project and write a policy report based on their study. Their project focused on church-based transitional housing in the Chattanooga area. This fall, a policy report based on their study will be published by the CPJ.

Dust now sits on the throne of heaven.

The Scriptures begin with dust. In Genesis, the Lord God forms Adam from the dust of the ground. Humanity is earthy, fragile, dependent, and mortal. Dust reminds us that we are creatures, not the Creator.
