Child Evangelism Fellowship of Chattanooga

CEF of Chattanooga is a non-profit ministry passionate about reaching children with the powerful message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to share His love, equip others, and help kids grow in Christ. Every Child, Every Nation, Every Day. Established in 1937, CEF has continually expanded to include ministries in nearly every country in the world to evangelize children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in the local church. The Greater Chattanooga Chapter has been in operation for over 50 years and covers Hamilton County and 10 surrounding counties. This chapter presently ministers to children through Good News Clubs, 5-Day Clubs, preschools, fairs, festivals, church and special events, and children's teacher training.

🎉 Last Friday, we had a wonderful time celebrating our director, Patti Harris, at her drop-in retirement party! From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., it was such a blessing to see so many familiar faces stop by to share memories, laughter, and well wishes as Patti begins this exciting new chapter.

Thank you to everyone who came out to honor Patti and show your support. Your presence made the day extra special!

For the past 10 years, Patti has faithfully served through the ministry of CEF, helping reach boys and girls with the Gospel and making a lasting impact on countless lives. We are so grateful for her dedication, servant's heart, and love for children's ministry.

While we'll certainly miss her, we're excited for her as she trades ministry schedules for retirement adventures, alarm clocks for a little extra sleep, and maybe even a few more leisurely mornings with coffee in hand! ☕😊

We are thankful for a day of fellowship, teamwork, and fun at The Sweet & Savory Classroom here in Chattanooga!

Our staff enjoyed spending time together, learning new skills, and building stronger relationships. Opportunities like these help strengthen our team as we work together to share the love of Christ with children throughout our community.

What an incredible summer!

Our CYIA clubs have officially wrapped up, and we are so thankful for all God has done through our summer missionaries, volunteers, and partnering churches.

Now we're on to our next assignment: Soccer Party Clubs! 🎉⚽

Already, more than 200 children have been reached through Soccer Party Clubs this summer, hearing about the love of Jesus and learning that God's Team Is Best! 🙌

✨ What a week! Our summer missionaries reached 386 kids with the Gospel last week—and we’re celebrating 15 salvations! 🙌

That’s 15 lives changed… and Heaven is definitely celebrating big right now (best party ever 🎉).

We're thankful for every student, volunteer, and partner who made it happen. Please keep praying for these kids as they grow in their faith!

💙 Happy Father’s Day 💙

Today we celebrate the fathers and father figures who embrace the calling God has placed in their lives—to love, lead, and raise the next generation.

Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus, reminds us what faithful fatherhood looks like. He didn’t have all the answers, but he trusted God, obeyed without hesitation, and protected the child God entrusted to him. His story shows us that fatherhood is more than biology—it’s a divine assignment.

Fathers, mentors, and leaders—when you pour into a child’s life, you are part of God’s greater story. Your obedience and faithfulness can shape a life for eternity.

✨ CYIA 5-Day Clubs Update! ✨

We are praising the Lord for an incredible start to our summer ministry!

During the first two weeks of 5-Day Clubs:
📍 June 1–4: Reached 389 children with the Gospel — 9 salvations
📍 June 8–11: Reached 439 children — 7 salvations

That’s over 800 children hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ, and 16 young hearts making decisions for Him! 🙌

Please continue to pray for our CYIA missionaries as they faithfully serve—giving their time, energy, and hearts to reach boys and girls with the Gospel. Pray for strength, boldness, protection, and open hearts in every club.

🎉 Celebrating 50 Years of Camp Hidden Hollow 🎉

What a joy it is to celebrate 50 years of Camp Hidden Hollow! From just 6 campers in 1976 to generations of children today, God has done something so special through this place.

For decades now, Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greater Chattanooga has had the privilege of being part of that story. Summer after summer, we’ve been welcomed in to teach Bible lessons and share the love of Jesus with campers—and it’s something we will never take for granted.

There’s just something beautiful about watching kids unplug, explore the outdoors, laugh together, and hear the truth of God’s Word in such a fun, meaningful way. Camp Hidden Hollow has always been a place “where a kid can be a kid a little longer,” and we’re so thankful to be a small part of what God is doing there.

We are incredibly grateful for Miss Sally Worland and her husband David, whose faithful hearts and vision have made this ministry what it is today. Their impact reaches far beyond what we can see.
