O, Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.

Tomorrow (Friday, June 12) we celebrate the solemnity of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. His love for us is so immense that His heart burns with love, mercy, and compassion for the world. No soul is forgotten, no prayer is unheard, and no sinner is beyond God’s mercy. ❤️‍🔥

We will have Mass at the Basilica at 7am and 12pm. The 12pm Mass will be a sung Mass, with the Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) will consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 11, 2026. This act coincides with the 250th anniversary (semiquincentennial) of the Declaration of Independence, aiming to entrust the nation to God's mercy and moral guidance.

Similarly, there will be a special Mass, focused on consecrating the Diocese of Knoxville to the Sacred Heart of Jesus at noon on Friday, June 12, at the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

You are invited to be a part of this movement. There are several ways you and your family can participate in this moment of prayer for unity, peace, healing, and renewal for our nation, particularly through the enthronement of the Sacred Heart in your home.

Thanks be to God for Fr. Daniel Cooper, ordained this past Saturday, June 6! He will be at the Basilica this Sunday, June 14, to celebrate the 9am Mass and greet and bless people after the 9am Mass during our Coffee Bar.

Adoration Introduction for Teens Tues, Jun 9 6:30-7:30pm at St. Stephen

Come join us on June 9th at St. Stephen Catholic Church!
Ages 12 – 18 are encouraged to participate and learn about adoration.

All are welcome and anyone that would like to come and just listen are also welcome.

Bring your own rosary!

Guide pamphlets will be provided for the youth.

In case you forget to bring your own rosary, limited amount of rosaries will be available to use during the Adoration.

This adoration will be related to the consecration of the US to the Sacred Heart of Jesus that will be on June 11.

On Friday, June 12th, thousands of Catholic prayer warriors in more than 2,600 prayer locations throughout the world will be gathered to pray a Rosary in thanksgiving to God for our priests and to implore the protection and loving care of Our Lady, Mother of all priests, for all her priestly sons. Each of the participating prayer location countries will pray a particular mystery of the Rosary at a specific allocated time on that day, and by midnight on June 13th, the entire world will have been encircled in prayer! Note that June 12 is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Our Basilica 12pm Mass will be a sung Mass. The Rosary will begin at 1pm.

If you are not able to be physically present at the Basilica at 1pm on June 12, please join in praying the Rosary from wherever you are, for our priests.
