No More Fear Of Death And That Which It Brings
The Roman soldiers did not take Jesus’ life from Him. For, Jesus said in
John 10:17-18
“Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.”
Then, Acts 2:24 says of Jesus,
“Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.”
Jesus, as a man without an in**ed sin nature, lived a perfect, sinless life. Therefore, it was impossible for death to claim Him.
Luke 23:46 speaks of Jesus willingly giving up His spirit when it says, “And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.”
The fear of death is the source of any person’s bo***ge.
But, Hebrews 2:14-15 addresses that dilemma when it says,
“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bo***ge.”
And, lastly we can know that Jesus is alive to enforce the life, health, deliverance, freedom, and peace we need.
For, Jesus said in Revelation 1:18,
“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”
So, receive, shout, dance, and rejoice. You are free.
