Can you imagine what it must've been like for the women gathered at the foot of the cross when Jesus was being crucified? We are going to look this Wednesday at the Heart Sisters at the Foot of the Cross. We'll talk about who was there and their connections with each other. And we will see how Jesus showed love and compassion for his mother in his last hours. I hope you'll join me as we focus our attention on the cross during Holy Week.

And then we'll enjoy a wonderful potluck sandwich and salad lunch!

This week we are going to tackle two very challenging
subjects: demon possession and mental illness. I will share with you the account of Jesus healing the demon possessed man, and we will look at the difference between demon possession and mental illness. We will see how Jesus dealt with someone who was demon possessed, yet had characteristics of mental illness.

And then Sue Gaines will share the story of her journey with her son and his schizophrenia. It is a heartfelt story and one that is very difficult to share. I hope that you will be present to hear both of these important lessons that will inform us about how to deal with those around us who are struggling with their own mental health.
