On Pentecost Sunday, Pastor Chad preached that God is intentionally guiding history through “days, hours, and seasons,” and that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at 9 a.m. on the Day of Pentecost was not random, but part of God’s redemptive plan between Christ’s first coming and His return. Drawing from Acts 2, he challenged believers to live as Spirit-filled people who order their lives around God’s presence through consistent prayer, faithfulness, and attentiveness to the Holy Spirit rather than the distractions of culture. He emphasized that we are living in the “last days,” a time marked by both urgency and opportunity: urgency to repent, persevere, and proclaim the gospel, and opportunity to experience the power and peace of the Holy Spirit while awaiting Christ’s return.
