The Crossing CKids

Today in CKids, we learned about Jesus being tempted in the wilderness. ❤️
Each time the enemy tempted Him, Jesus responded with the truth of God’s Word.
What a reminder for our kids—and for us! We don’t wait until the hard moments to learn what God says. We hide His Word in our hearts now so we are ready when those moments come.
We love seeing our CKids pray together, learn God’s Word together, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. 🙏
God’s Word gives us truth to stand on.

We’ve made it to the New Testament! 📖🙌
After walking through the Old Testament and seeing how God’s story points us to Jesus, we’re now learning about the One who was promised all along.
This week, we learned how John prepared the way for Jesus by calling people to repent and turn back to God.

And we have a new memory verse—John 1:14! Help your CKid practice it at home this week. 🤍

A new school year means new classrooms, new teachers, new friends... and new opportunities to be the light of Jesus! 💡

As our CKids head back to school this week, we’re praying God gives them courage, kindness, wisdom, and confidence.

We’d love to see them! 📸 Tag in your first-day-of-school pictures or post them in the comments so we can celebrate together.

Have a wonderful first week of school! 🍎🎒

Today in CKids, we discovered how the Old Testament points to Jesus! 🌟 We learned about John the Baptist’s family, how God kept His promises, and how the prophets told about Jesus’ birth long before it happened.
What an amazing reminder that God always keeps His promises! 💙 Ask your child what they learned today—we’d love to hear their favorite part!

🕵️ MISSION POSSIBLE: FINAL MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 🕵️
What an incredible week at CKids Camp 2026!
Over the last three days, our agents discovered:
✅ What the Good News is
✅ Who the Good News is for
✅ How to share the Good News
They cracked clues, uncovered secrets, completed challenges, opened briefcases, and worked together to accomplish every mission HQ sent their way.
🏆 Congratulations to the RED TEAM for finishing as our Top Agents!
❤️ Our agents also showed incredible generosity by raising over $3,000 for Special Agent Timmy and his family. Thank you to every family who gave, prayed, and helped make a difference.
Most importantly, children heard the Gospel, learned that Jesus came to rescue them, and were challenged to share the Good News with others.
A huge thank you to our volunteers who gave their time, energy, and hearts to invest in the next generation. Your impact reaches far beyond these three days.
🎉 We’ll celebrate tonight at Family Night at Red Clay at 6 PM!
🎵 Agents, don’t forget your Sunday mission! Join us in 2nd service as we sing our camp song together.

Mission 2: Accomplished!
Today our agents discovered an important truth: 🌎 The Good News is for EVERYONE!
Through worship, games, crafts, missions, training, and small groups, we learned that Jesus loves all people and wants everyone to hear the Good News.
Our agents continued collecting coins for Special Agent Timmy and his family. Thank you for helping us show God’s love in a practical way while supporting a family walking through a difficult season. ❤️
🏆 Team standings remain CLASSIFIED. Which team is leading the race to become Top Agents? The answer may be revealed soon...
Tomorrow is our FINAL MISSION!
🎉 Join us for Family Night at Red Clay at 6 PM tomorrow. We can’t wait to see our agents and their families there!

🕵️ MISSION POSSIBLE: DAY 1 RECAP 🕵️
Mission Accomplished!
Today our agents discovered the Good News: Jesus came to rescue us so we can choose Him!
We worshipped, trained, crafted, solved clues, and completed our first mission. Most importantly, many children indicated they want to choose Jesus! 🙌
🏆 Mission Scoreboard:
Did the Red Team take the lead? Or is another team secretly on top? Agents will have to report back tomorrow to find out!
❤️ Special Agent Timmy Update:
Our agents also began bringing coins to help Special Agent Timmy and his family as they navigate his cancer treatments. Every coin helps support his family and spread a little hope to other kids fighting cancer.
Thank you to our amazing volunteers and families for making Day 1 such a success. We can’t wait to see what Mission 2 holds tomorrow!
