Some of the ladies of Hickory Valley Christian Church took a trip to Scottsboro, AL today to check out the Unclaimed Baggage store. Everyone enjoyed searching the huge store to see
what bargains they could find. There has already been talk of a return trip.

To top off the day, guess who blessed us with a surprise visit?! Michelle Pugh Bryant! It was so great to see you! Sisters in Christ are sisters for life 🥰

🥳🤩 It’s Merch Madness this month at Isaiah 117 House! For March we have brought back our purple Ditch the Dress Up t-shirts for Easter this year and we have put our pink Ditch the Dress Up shirts on clearance! We only have kids sizes in the pink. We are also reintroducing our black long sleeve t-shirt after about a one-year absence! In addition, we are having a clearance on what we have left of the green long sleeve Comfort Colors long sleeve t-shirt. Quantities and sizes are very limited on the clearance items, so act fast! Have you ever closed your Bible and thought, what did I just read? Whether you are brand new to the Bible or you grew up in the 2nd pew, reading scripture can feel confusing or boring at times. Understanding it well seems to require reading it thoroughly (and even repeatedly), but who wants to read something they don't understand?

The Bible Recap is here to help! It’s a short podcast/video (~8 minutes per day) and book (2 pages per day) by Tara-Leigh Cobble. She’ll highlight and summarize that day’s Bible reading in a casual, easy to understand way to not only help you read scripture but to love reading it!

If this is you, join us on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. at HVCC as we read through the Bible in 2024. If you have any questions, you can contact Romona Palmer.

Happy afternoon church family! I wanted to bring to you one of HVCC's November activities, straight from our weekly email!

SISTER to SISTER is at it again!

All ladies are invited to join in a shopping trip to "Tangled Tinsel Holiday Market" at Bradley Square Mall on Saturday, November 5, at 10:00 a.m. If you want a ride in the church van, please sign up by reaching out to Sarah Henry (423-987-5683) and meet at the church by 9:30 am.

After shopping they have lunch together round the food trucks. If you arrive late, please text Sarah Henry at (423) 987-5683.

An awesome time to hang out, fellowship, and enjoy each other's company with the backdrop of getting your shop on! There are some amazing women here at HVCC, and I encourage any lady reading this to come to this awesome event and get to know some of them- they would truly love to have you!
