We invite you to our Good Friday Tenebrae Service. This service dates back to the medieval Christians in Europe. It starts at 8:15 pm. The service is done in the dark with 7 candles that are extinguished during the readings of the last days of Jesus life.

Since it is in darkness and a solemn service, we will be offering child care through elementary. We will show the movie King of Kings to them.

The entire service lasts less than 45 minutes but it is very impactful!

We WILL be having service this morning! We have checked roads and forecast, please do not get out if your area is bad. The Chattanooga area is fine, mountains are icy.

Also kids classrooms will be closed today. Nursery will be open for parents as needed.

We had such a wonderful weekend that began on Saturday where we put together over 11,000 meals to give to those around us in need. Thank you Operation InAsMuch for providing the meals and equipment. Also, thanks to those in our church family that came to help. Also, to our Oak Grove neighbors, friends at Faith United Baptist Church, friends from Silverdale Baptist, and CNE for helping us put the meals together. It not only was a lot of fun but also a good community building experience.

• YOUTH is moving to Sunday meetings after church 1pm-3pm for now. Lunch will be served from the kids hangout room.
