United Youth Hiking & Lunch at Fort Mountain was an absolute blast today! ☀️🥾
What a gift it was to spend the day outside with such an incredible group—laughing, hiking, and making memories together.

📢Huge shoutout to Kevin Schmidt for the AMAZING BBQ pork! 🔥🤤Most of the guys ate 3 sandwiches… no joke—it might’ve been the best they’ve ever had! We appreciate you so much for taking the time to make that for us!

Our youth group was so blessed this Sunday by Mrs. Deborah Yarbrough, and Eli, who served us an amazing meal—thank you so much! Deborah, your food is always incredible, and Eli, we appreciate your help and servant heart.

We also spent time in Numbers 20 learning about Moses and how important it is to trust God and follow Him fully, even when things are hard or unclear. God is still faithful and provides for His people. May we seek to serve and honor God as Holy—always!

So grateful for good food, great people, and God’s Word together!

Next Sunday is our May Sunday Funday!! Hiking and lunch up on Fort Mtn. Wear tennis shoes and be dressed & ready to leave the church by 12:20. We will return by 4:00pm.

🔥 CFMC Youth students are secretly hibachi pros or future MasterChef champs?!! 🔥

What a night! The competition was tight—only a few points separated 1st and 2nd place! 👏

The Teriyaki Terrors brought their A-game and did an amazing job… but the trophy went to Team Delicious! 🏆🔥

And just like that… GIRLS TAKE THE WIN in the Hibachi Competition! 💁‍♀️🍱🍚

Sorry fellas—maybe y’all will bring it home at the Chili Cookoff this fall! 😉

Huge shoutout to our incredible judges—Shannon, Hugh, Kathy, and Lisa—thank you for giving your time and pouring encouragement into our students. You were such a blessing to us! ❤️

Jackson Pannell brought a powerful word tonight from Exodus 9, reminding us that God is all-powerful—and that our choices carry real consequences.

We were challenged to guard our hearts and never let them become hardened like Pharaoh’s. One question really stuck with us: Do we want to be saved from our sin… or just from the penalty of it?

As believers, we’re called to truly listen when the Holy Spirit convicts—and to respond with obedience, not resistance.

Fear Factor Night 👀🔥

We leaned into what it really means to listen to Christ, trust Him fully, and not let fear be a factor in our lives. 💪

Several of our brave youth fam took on the blindfold taste test challenge (and YES… they survived 😂🙌).

Our time together was anchored in Numbers 13—reminding us that even when fear tries to speak loud, faith calls us to trust God’s promises.
