THE PASTOR'S CORNER: Psalm 18: 1-3 " I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God ,my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from mine enemies.=========Beloved, this Psalm reminds us that like King David, we should give God credit for every victory in our lives. And acknowledges that the Lord alone has made us who we are ( cf # 1Cor. 15:10). This Psalm pictures the Lord as both defender and deliverer. If God delivered the Israelites of old, surrounded by nature's walls, pursued by hating foes, then he will open a way where there is none, and deliver the trusting soul. May we always give God the glory for every good thing in our lives. --------Rev. Dr. George Hardin Johnson

THE PASTOR'S CORNER: 2Corinthians 1:3-4 "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God".====== Beloved, when we are tested and tried, enduring tribulation, our heavenly Father steps in as our comforter. Most Christians know the grace of God and the compassions of God at conversion, but they get to know the comfort of God by experience. Beloved, when the pressures of life over whelm us; when sufferings seem unbearable; and all these things come with such great force, lets all remember that our God is the God of all comfort. The source of all our comfort in the midst of troubles is God Himself. Our comfort received from God enables us to comfort others who are troubled. May we all remember that God loves and blesses us by the Lord Jesus Christ. -------Rev. Dr. George Hardin Johnson

THE PASTOR'S CORNER: Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ". ======Beloved, believe that God always finishes what He starts, including His work in you! Our stance of faith eliminates fear and worry, and brings the freedom to rejoice and praise God. As Christians, we can have great confidence in the faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ on our behalf. Never forget that God loves us. It is true that salvation is a finished act of God in the life of the believer; yet we must recognize the fact that there is also a constant and continual working of God in every child of His. ----------Rev. Dr. George Hardin Johnson

THE PASTOR'S CORNER: Romans "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek".=====Beloved, we should know the power of the gospel and be confident that wherever it is preached the Holy Spirit will use it to save souls; so our confidence is not in our own persuasive powers, but in the power of God in the message no matter who preaches it. The Holy Spirit uses the gospel message to regenerate souls. Since the almighty power of God is in the gospel, we do not need to be self-conscious or afraid when we preach it or share it. It is not our eloquence or talents or ability that produces conversion in our hearers, but God's power exercised in the souls through hearing the gospel message when that message is preached. This power of God regenerates the soul and produces salvation for the believer. the gospel is for all races, wherever Gods people are to be found. It works the same wherever it is preached, no matter what race or the color the skin ,or the condition in life.-----------Rev. Dr. George Hardin George Margie Johnson

THE PASTOR'S CORNER: Psalm 86:11-12 " Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth; unite my heart to fear(reverence) thy name. I will praise thee, O LORD my God, with all my heart; and I will glorify thy name for evermore"===== Beloved, the Psalmist is here expressing his gratitude for God's past goodness. May we gladly praise and glorify the name of the Lord who has delivered us out of extreme dangers and deep distresses. The remembrance of past mercy from the Lord Jesus is an encouragement to us. Beloved, God desires the hearts of all us to be fully and singly devoted to Him. -------Rev. Dr. George Hardin Johnson

THE PASTO4R'S CORNER: Psalm 27:1 " The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"======Beloved, may we all make time with God and His people our high priority and our delight. Lets always remember that the Lord will take care of our life. Our memory can recall and relive the past. When rightly used, it becomes a help for the present, and an example for the future. David remembers a time when God delivered him from danger. He trusted in God then; and he can trust Him now; and he will trust God in the future. So can we! The Lord Jesus, who has helped us in the past, will not fail us in days to come. May we always have confidence in God. Remember that God loves us. --------Rev. Dr. George Hardin Johnson

THE PASTOR'S CORNER: John 3: 17-18 " For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him(Jesus) is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God(Jesus)".======Beloved, today is Christmas, and every Christian should be focused on our Savior Jesus Christ. Sadly too many are caught up in the enticements of the world. The purpose of God's gift of His Son was to bring salvation to men. People ask what is it, then, to believe? Let me tell you He is God's gift; and we must receive Him with a grateful heart. Also beloved, He is God's Lamb; and we must trust Him for taking away of your sin (cf # John 1:29). God's way of salvation is The Lord Jesus Christ(cf # John 14:6). Have a great day and always remember that God loves you.-------Rev. Dr. George Hardin Johnson

PASTOR'S CORNER: 2 Corinthians 9:15 " Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift".=====Beloved, this gift, of course, is the gift of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. This gift is indescribable, beyond the words of men. With Christ we have all things! God has given us His Son, the greatest of all gifts; will He not give us the lesser things? (See Romans 8:32). We truly are blessed in our Lord Jesus Christ.------------Rev. Dr./ George Hardin Johnson

THE PASTOR'S CORNER: Psalm 62:1-2,8 " Truly my soul waited upon God; from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge, for us." =======Beloved, this Psalm emphasizes the fact that our trust should only be in God. This past 2 years I have seen God move in a miraculous way in my precious wife Margie's life. Beloved, we are living daily amid the manifestations of Divine power. Remember she was in a coma for 3 weeks and the doctors only gave her 3 hours to live. Thanks to ya'll for your prayers, she is recovering greatly. "Praise the Lord Jesus"! When trouble comes in our lives we should declare God to be our never failing Lord. We are admonish to trust in the Lord at all times and in all circumstances. To trust God is to cast our burdens on Him when it is too heavy for our shoulders (cf # Psalm 55:22). A person that trust in God at all times will not hesitate to pour out his heart to God. God bless you all this Christmas season.--------Rev. Dr. George Hardin Johnson

THE PASTOR'S CORNER: Hebrews 12:2 " Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."======Beloved, this Christmas may we all keep our focus on the Lord Jesus Christ, for He truly is the reason for the season. The word "looking" signifies undivided attention, looking away from all distractions in order to fix one's gaze on one object. Celebrate this Christmas with your family and remember how blessed we are in the Lord Jesus! God bless you all and have a great week-end. --------Rev. Dr. George Hardin Johnson

12/03/2025

THE PASTOR'S CORNER: Psalm 31:24 " Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD".======= Beloved, when our our outlook in life is dark, remember the up look in God is always bright. This Christmas season remember the past mercies of the Lord Jesus and see more clearly the present blessings of God. Every situation in life we encounter is an opportunity to chose to trust God. Faith involves an element of risk, but always yields the best dividends. Remember that the Lord Jesus loves you. As one preacher said that the miracle of Christmas is "Emmanuel" God with us! God bless you all.-----Rev. Dr. George Hardin Johnson
