Anna, a prophetess, was widowed at an early age. The Bible does not say she had children. It is possible she felt alone and had no real purpose. But Anna lived in the temple, doing the works of her God...praying, fasting, and telling others about the promised Messiah. THEN ONE DAY, the Baby Jesus was brought into the temple by his mother and earthly father, Joseph. (WHAT IF ANNA HAD CHOSEN TO LIFE OF SELF-PITY FULL DEPRESSION? Note: Perhaps your life is not what you have planned; but if you submit to what God has planned for you; ONE DAY, YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID. SERVE THE LORD WITH GLADNESS!!!
