Coleman Deas is an 18-year-old graduate of Jackson Academy and the son of Nikki Sturdivant and Bo Deas. Raised in St. Stephens, Coleman has always had a passion for the outdoors and enjoys spending his free time hunting, fishing, and anything that keeps him outside.

During high school, Coleman proudly played varsity baseball, creating lasting memories with his teammates and friends on the field. Some of his favorite high school moments came from playing baseball and building friendships along the way.

Outside of school and sports, Coleman also enjoys taxidermy and has a strong interest in outdoor trades and craftsmanship. After graduation, he plans to enter the workforce while continuing to pursue his passion for the outdoors. Coleman hopes to earn his gunsmith’s license in the future.

Raina Gunter, daughter of Jon and Amzie Gunter, is a 2026 graduate of Washington County High School. She enjoys reading, baking, and playing volleyball.

Raina was a 4-year varsity volleyball player, earning Alfa Player of the Week, 2-time All-County, and All-State Honorable Mention. She also served as FCCLA Vice President and a class officer all four years.

She maintained A Honor Roll throughout high school and completed dual enrollment English courses. Raina will attend Bishop State Community College on a Presidential Scholarship and also play on the volleyball team.

Her favorite memory was going to state for volleyball her junior year, and she credits Mrs. Behlen for always encouraging her and helping her stay motivated.

After graduating from Bishop State Communtity College, Raina will continue her education path and major in civil engineering.

Once again, we are faced with the decision to cancel our Bible Study tonight due to the threat of severe weather. Our goal is always to keep everyone safe.
