We continue to highlight some of the great adult & kids programing found on Formed website/app that St. Joe’s provides to all parishioners for FREE.

Today’s pick is The Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary: The Seven Sorrows of Mary (aka the Servite Rosary) is a traditional Catholic devotion featuring meditations on sorrowful episodes in the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The prayers and meditations are accompanied by images of sacred art from many of the great masters as well as a lush, yet subtle, orchestral soundtrack.

Did you know that our parish subscribes to the Formed website/app which has some great adult & kids programing? We’ll highlight some over the coming weeks that might be especially helpful during the Lenten season.

Today’s pick is Living Lent as a Family: Have you ever wanted to live more liturgically but not known how? We want to help all families by providing these discussions on liturgical living during Lent to be a resource for the Domestic Church—the home. We pray that these discussions bless you and your family.

Did you know that our parish subscribes to the Formed website/app which has some great adult & kids programing? We’ll highlight some over the coming weeks that might be especially helpful during the Lenten season.

Today’s pick is Whole 40, Making a Spiritual Plan for Lent: Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent and a great day to make a plan for this holy and grace-filled season. Dr. Ben Akers sits down with Dr. Elizabeth Klein, Professor at the Augustine Institute Graduate School, to discuss the purpose of the season of Lent, how to prepare for it, and why it is such a fruitful season in our life of faith.

You don’t have to be a subscriber, and you don’t have to enter an email address to download the file- it’s just a simple click.

I am hoping that if this prayer and these images are displayed in your homes or tucked into your wallet, you will remember to pray for the Ukrainian people daily.

This prayer and coloring page are written/drawn by , who is a Ukrainian Greek Catholic mom (and a fabulous writer and artist.)

Here’s what’s included in the pack:

-Prayer cards with a special prayer for the current situation in Ukraine
-Prayer stand up triptych (perfect for displaying)
-Ukrainian Saint art (this can be displayed in a “certificate frame” from the Dollar Tree or any 8.5×11 frame)
