Learn to Sew • Support Missions • Make a Difference!
Come join us for a fun, hands-on Beginner Sewing Class and learn how to make a market bag for women overseas! ❤️
These beautiful and practical bags are made each week by the International Women’s Ministries sewing ministry, and now we want to teach you how to make one from beginning to end!
No sewing experience is necessary. Our IWM sewing team will walk you through every step. If you have your own sewing machine, you're welcome to bring it, but don't worry if you don't have one. We will have machines available.
Best of all, your class fee will help support our upcoming IWM Kenya Missions Trip! 🇰🇪
📅 When: Saturday, September 26
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
📍 Where: 379 Reas Ford Road, Earlysville, VA
💵 Cost: $35 per person
All proceeds benefit the IWM Kenya Missions Trip.
What to Bring:
• A sewing machine, if you have one
• A packed lunch
• A willingness to learn and have fun!

🙏 Please Pray for Nepal 🇳🇵

We are lifting the people of Nepal in prayer as devastating flooding affects families and communities. Please pray for those who have lost loved ones, homes, and possessions, and for everyone who has been displaced or remains in danger.

Lord, restrain the floodwaters and protect those in vulnerable areas. Give strength and wisdom to emergency workers, provide shelter and necessities for those in need, and bring comfort to every grieving heart. Strengthen the churches and ministries serving their communities, and let Your presence bring hope amid this crisis.

Today, the office was filled with activity as our Threads of Blessing ladies worked together. Tonight, our board gathers to meet, pray, and seek God’s direction for all that lies ahead.
