On today’s World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, Pope Leo reminds us it is our duty to care for the many “ecosystems” entrusted to us by God, the ecosystems of creation, relationships and the human heart itself.

This year’s theme is: “They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks” (Isaiah 2:4).

God has entrusted us with his beautiful creation of nature and humanity; may we treat all of it with love and respect.

Rosary Procession This Weekend

Please join us for a Rosary Procession to honor Our Blessed Mother this Sunday, August 23rd immediately following the 11:00am Mass.

August is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our Blessed Mother is a constant model of humility and obedience to God. As we proclaim her queenship, let us recognize her unique role in the kingdom of heaven.

She who humbled herself, was honored by God. Let us ask her to advocate for us before her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and provide the motherly intercession we all need.

Parishes around the country are encouraged to join the bishops in celebrating the consecration of our nation to the Sacred Heart.
