السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear ISCV Community,
As we are now approaching the end of Ramadan, we kindly remind our community to prepare to fulfill the obligation of Zakat Al-Fitr (Sadaqatul Fitr). This charity purifies our fast and supports those who are eligible to receive Zakat.
Ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) narrated that Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) prescribed Sadaqatul Fitr as an obligatory duty to purify those who fast from useless and obscene activities and to provide food for the poor.
(Abu Dawood)
When to Pay
Zakat Al-Fitr should be paid before the Eid prayer, and it is recommended to give it early so it can reach those in need on time.
How to Pay
Please use the following Zelle number exclusively for Zakat and Zakat-Al-Fitr contributions:
* Zelle: 434-971-1344
* Credit/Debit Card: Click here to pay online
* Cash or Check: Payable to ISCV (please write Zakat Al-Fitr in the memo)
May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and charity.
JazakAllahu khayran,
ISCV
