Our prayers and our hearts go out to Kohen's family and community. And to all folks who fear police violence and hatred and who are retraumatized every time an incident like this happens.

AND our thoughts and prayers are not enough. We must continue to bear witness that Black Lives Matter and work to create a world where racism and police brutality no longer exist.

A Mississippi police officer shot and killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley at a Walmart while responding to a shoplifting call.

❤️ We are only a week into Pride Month and already we have experienced a significant uptick in hateful comments. This month (and beyond) is about celebrating God's love and inclusion in all of its forms.
❤️ So, we feel called to remind our communities of our commitment to keep our spaces safe, loving and respectful, not just during Pride month, but always.

What a beautiful morning ☀️Our end-of-school ice cream party was so much fun today! As we walk our church grounds, we are reminded that our vinyl lawn banners have stood the test of time. Now that they are visibly sunburned and cracking, we are excited for our new double-sided banner! We aim to have it outside on the lawn very soon😊
