We are thrilled to share some incredible news with our community—Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries has been awarded a generous $10,000 donation from the 87th Charlottesville 10 Miler!

This gift fills us with deep gratitude. We are thankful not only for the financial support, but for the recognition of the work God is doing through Abundant Life in the Prospect Avenue Community. The Charlottesville 10 Miler has a long history of uplifting local nonprofits, and we are honored to be among this year’s beneficiaries.

This donation will directly strengthen our mission—empowering families and neighbors through holistic, relationship‑driven programming rooted in God’s love. From tutoring and mentoring to leadership development and community events, this support helps us continue walking alongside our neighbors with purpose and joy.

Royal Girls, Abundant Life’s young women’s enrichment program, grows young women, grades 5th through 8th, individually in their faith and grows them together in sisterhood.

Led by community member, Tekisha Crenshaw, the young ladies eat together every Tuesday, share in testimonies and prayer, and learn God’s Word through devotionals.

Royal Girls, like Kaniah, learn who they are through the lens of God, to then take the Gospel into their homes, schools, and community.
