-that centers around God's table of grace, reserved for no one and freely offered to ALL?
-that is open to diverse understandings of God?
-that cares more about the relationship you have with God than yo

ur knowledge of church doctrine?
-that shares Jesus's passion for the poor, the oppressed and the marginalized?
-that encourages critical thinking, even doubting, as an important part of growing in faith?
-that honors the Bible as a collection of writings to be taken seriously, but not literally?
-that expects the Spirit to transform God's people and supports all who are open to --that ongoing transformation in their lives?
-that seeks to follow the Jesus Way in the world, the way of radical compassion for other people (especially those who are not "like us") and all creation? If you long to be a part of such a community, check us out. Perhaps God is calling you to join us in our mission.

What Are You Really After?

When someone hurts you, it’s easy to want them to hurt a little, too.
Maybe you want them to feel guilty.
Maybe you want other people to know what they did.
Maybe you want the last word.

But underneath all of that, what do you really want?

Justice? An apology? To be heard? To feel safe? To repair the relationship? To move on?

What does “making things right” actually mean to you?

How willing are you to have a difficult conversation face-to-face with someone?

When someone frustrates or disappoints us, talking to everyone except the person involved can feel a whole lot easier. We get validation, support, and sometimes even a little satisfaction. But the person we're upset with never gets the chance to explain, apologize, or make things right.

When you’re upset with someone, do you tend to go directly to them — or do you process it with everyone else first? What makes having the actual conversation so difficult?

Take the Next Step

Peter didn't know everything that was ahead of him.
Neither do we.
And maybe that's okay.

We don't need to know the whole road to take the next step.
We can trust.
We can listen.
We can pay attention.
We can look for where love is already happening and step into it.
What is one next step you've been afraid to take?

Maybe you don't need to know what happens after that.
Maybe you just need enough courage for the next step.

Where Is God Already Working?

We often ask, “What should I do?”

Maybe there's another question worth asking:
Where is God already at work?

Look around.
Maybe it's in the neighbor who checks on someone.
The stranger who holds the door.
The friend who finally asks, “How are you really doing?”
The person who welcomes someone who feels like they don't belong.
The quiet act of kindness nobody else sees.

Where have you seen goodness, kindness, or love showing up lately?
