"My name is Uloma Onyeanuforo and I am from Nigeria. I moved to Huntersville, NC 5 months ago to join my husband (we’ve been married for 1 year). Back in Nigeria, I attended a church called ‘Sovereign Grace Community Church’ so when relocating I had hoped to find a church community close-by and browsed churches under sovereign grace ministry and found Crossway. The first Sunday I walked in, everything about the mode of service reminded me of my church family in Nigeria and I immediately felt at home.
As a foreigner who is also an introvert, it warmed my heart when people made effort to get to know us and even go further to extend their hands of fellowship outside of the church building. Being at Crossway has felt like having a family hold my hands and help me navigate my new environment from a godly lens. I hope to grow in my love for God and find ways to express that in how I love and serve the people around me. Looking forward to all God has for me here."

"My name is Ethan Berry, and I’m a sophomore in M28 at UNC Charlotte. I found Crossway through M28, and I’ve been coming for about a year and a half. I worked at a life changing summer camp this past year teaching 2nd-3rd graders, and I wanted to continue using what I learned there to serve my community, prompting me to investigate Children’s Ministry here at Crossway, shortly followed by membership in the church. I am hoping to find a job and live with friends here in Charlotte after college, and I’m hoping this will be the church I call home for the next period of my life."

"We are happy to be joining the Crossway family! We have four children: Elsie(10), Maycee(8), Summit(7) and Sadie(4). As a family, we love being outdoors, gardening and staying active! After visiting Crossway for some time, the sound preaching and teaching of the word and the loving body of believers drew us to consider covenanting through membership with Crossway. We knew that we wanted to be a part of what the Lord is doing through this church and serve with this local body of believers as there are so many opportunities for this here! Our hope for Crossway is that the Lord would continue to be glorified by and made known through our love for Him and one another."

Earlier this summer, you generously gifted 210 Bibles to our brothers and sisters in Ethiopia at Trinity Fellowship Church. They were received with much gratitude!

Join us this weekend for Global Sunday as we share more about and pray for our Kingdom Partners across the globe. We look forward to worshiping the Lord in multiple languages through scripture and song!

"Hello, my name is Andrew! I have been attending Crossway since November of last year with my lovely fiancé, Lyn Chester. I grew up going to Kingsway Community Church in Richmond, VA, and am likewise excited to join its sister church! I currently work as a Process Engineer and travel often for the job. Despite a hectic work schedule, God has been gracious in providing opportunities to serve here at Crossway. I am excited to become increasingly more involved in the fellowship of Crossway and be able to pour into this church the way God has already used others here to pour into me!"

"Hey church family, my name is Mason. I am originally from a small town outside of Raleigh called Wendell. I’m a huge sports fan so I am always down to talk sports. I found Crossway my sophomore year of college at UNC Charlotte through the M28 ministry. I attended Crossway some as a sophomore but bounced around churches a lot during college. My senior year I started coming to Crossway again and really started to love the culture and community the church offered. I also have been given the opportunity to serve as the M28 intern this fall which brought me back to Crossway. I hope to find a loving church community at Crossway as well as being a part of a church that loves the Lord and is working together to make disciples of Jesus Christ. I look forward to getting to know you all!"

“Hello! My name is Lyn Chester and I have been regularly attending Crossway since November of 2023 with my fiancé Andrew Webb. I am currently in my last year of physical therapy school at Western Carolina University and will be completing clinical rotations in Charlotte starting in August (hoping to specialize in pediatrics!). I am so excited to have Crossway as my church family due to the theology, welcoming atmosphere, numerous opportunities to serve, and cross-generational discipleship. I have loved being a part of the Repentance Bible study, and I hope to serve in the children’s ministry at Crossway in the upcoming weeks!”

“We have known about Crossway for many years. And decided to come visit, when we felt the Spirit pushing us to make a move. Our desire was for ourselves and the kids to have other peers walking alongside them in their faith. And it was evident to us, that there is a genuine faith for many within the congregation. And a desire to honor Christ with their lives. We left after the first few Sundays feeling very encouraged. We are excited to be a part of the church body here at Crossway!”
