Brenda Stevenson knows how it feels to be hungry, and what it means when someone reaches out to help. Once upon a time, she told God that if she ever had the opportunity, she would turn around and give the gift back to others who need it. That time came in 1985, when Stevenson began feeding hungry neighbors, friends, and anyone else who needed it, drawing from her own meager income and soliciting

donations where she could find them. By 1990, New Outreach Ministries had become known as the place to go, even when no one else would help. Since then, the ministry has served thousands of the hungry, homeless, and senior members of the community who would otherwise go without. Christmas programs offer toys for the children, and other times the ministry is able to give clothes and other important items to those who need them. Every program is served up along with inspiration, worship, and open-armed love. Donations and volunteers are always needed. Everyone is welcome.
