There are families in our community who are carrying more than most people will ever see. A parent wondering how Christmas dinner will happen. A child who needs a winter coat. A household navigating job loss, financial hardship, transition, or an unexpected crisis.
This year, THE ASCENDING PLACE is choosing to see the need—and respond.
Through MAKE ROOM | CHRISTMAS 2026, we’re coming alongside local households to provide more than presents. We’re helping with children’s gifts, groceries, winter clothing, household necessities, Christmas dinner, and practical support based on each family’s actual needs.
And YOU can help us MAKE ROOM.

💜✨ SIS… WHO ARE YOU DRESSING FOR? 👀

There’s nothing wrong with being cute, polished, fashionable, and confident—okay?! 😂👏🏾 God did not call us to be frumpy! But there’s a difference between looking good and needing your appearance to get you attention.

Before you leave the house, ask yourself: “Am I dressing from confidence… or am I dressing for validation?”

Because modesty isn’t about hiding yourself. It’s about understanding who you are, Whose you are, and what you represent. 👑

You can be:
✨ Stylish without seeking attention.
✨ Beautiful without needing validation.
✨ Confident without competing.
✨ Covered without losing your personality.
✨ Fashionable AND Kingdom-minded.

Sis, wear the outfit! 💅🏾😂 But make sure your character speaks louder than your clothes.

Because the goal isn’t for everybody to walk away saying, “Did you SEE her?”

Let them encounter you and say, “There’s something DIFFERENT about her.” 💜🔥

Dress with intention. Walk with confidence. Represent the Kingdom. RISE.

💜💛💙❤️💚 SIS… WHAT’S ON THE INSIDE WILL EVENTUALLY SHOW UP ON THE OUTSIDE! 👀

You can say, “I’m fine,” all day long… but sometimes your tone says otherwise. Your attitude says otherwise. Your reactions say otherwise. Your energy says OTHERWISE. 😩😂

That’s why we have to pay attention to what’s happening inside of us.

💛 Joy may show you what’s bringing you life.
💙 Sadness may reveal what still needs healing.
❤️ Anger may expose a boundary that’s been crossed.
💚 Disgust may reveal what no longer belongs in your space.
💜 Fear may point to where faith and clarity are needed.
🩵 Anxiety may be telling you to slow down and surrender what you cannot control.

Your emotions are indicators, not dictators. They can tell you something is happening, but they don’t have to determine what happens next.

Because sis… you can dress up the outside, but eventually the inside starts talking. 👀🔥

So before we correct everybody else, maybe the question is:

“What is showing up OUTSIDE of me that God is trying to deal with INSIDE of me?” 🙌🏾💜

FEEL IT. DISCERN IT. GIVE IT TO GOD. THEN RISE.

💜💛💙❤️💚 SIS… WHAT IS YOUR EMOTION TRYING TO TELL YOU? 👀

If Inside Out taught us anything, it’s that every emotion has a job! Joy isn’t the only emotion that matters. Sadness can reveal what needs healing. Anger can expose what feels out of alignment. Fear can point to what needs attention. Anxiety can signal that we’re carrying tomorrow before it gets here. And peace? Peace can remind us where we feel safe, settled, and grounded. 💜

Sometimes we’re so busy trying to stop feeling that we never ask, “Why am I feeling this?”

💛 JOY — What is bringing me life?
💙 SADNESS — What needs my attention or healing?
❤️ ANGER — What boundary may have been crossed?
💜 FEAR/ANXIETY — What am I worried about or trying to control?
💚 DISGUST — What no longer sits right with me?

Your emotions can be indicators without becoming your dictators. Feel them. Examine them. Pray about them. Then allow God to give you wisdom about what to do with them.

Because sis… sometimes what feels like an emotional mess is actually information. 🧠✨

FEEL. DISCERN. GROW. RISE. 💜
