Today we celebrate Juneteenth as a powerful reminder of freedom, perseverance, and the faith that carried generations through unimaginable challenges.

As we honor this moment in history, we give thanks for those who endured, those who paved the way, and those who continue the work of building stronger families, communities, and futures.

At Metro, we believe God created every person with purpose, value, and a destiny to fulfill. Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is something to steward as we walk in the life God has called us to live.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” — 2 Corinthians 3:17

Today we celebrate freedom.
Today we honor resilience.
Today we give thanks for God’s faithfulness.

Sunday at Metro, we celebrated our youth, graduates, and students being promoted into their next season! 🎓

As we continue our summer journey through the Psalms, Sunday’s message came from Psalm 119:9–16 a reminder that our young people are not just moving up, they are being built up by the Word of God.

God’s Word must be received in the heart, recited from the mouth, rejoiced over as treasure, reflected on in the mind, and remembered in every season.

At Metro, we exist to help people take the next steps in living God’s destiny for their lives, and today, we speak that over the next generation.
They are covered.�They are called.�They are becoming.�They are built different by the Word.
