Before making a decision, what if we paused to ask one simple question:

"God, does this please You?"

When we seek God's approval before our own, our choices begin to reflect His love, grace, and purpose. Whether at work, at home, or in our daily interactions, our greatest goal is to honor Him in all we do.

May we be people who prayerfully ask, "Am I glorifying You through this?" and then live in a way that points others to Christ.

Following Jesus isn't always the easy path, but it's always the right one.

Jesus never promised that discipleship would be comfortable. He called us to take up our cross, follow Him, and trust Him even when the road is difficult.

God's grace is a free gift, but following Christ requires surrender, faith, and a willingness to put Him first. The narrow path may be challenging, but it leads to the abundant life only He can give.

Will you choose to follow Him today, no matter the cost?

Sundays at St. Francis

This Sunday, Pastor Jae Lee shared a message from Matthew 10:34 to 39 titled “The Cost of Discipleship.”

Following Jesus is not always the easiest path, but it is always the right one. Jesus reminds us that being his disciple means putting him first, even when it's difficult. True discipleship calls us to trust God, let go of what holds us back, and faithfully follow Christ wherever he leads.

When we choose to live for Jesus, we discover a life filled with purpose, hope, and the promise of God's presence every step of the way.

The Church is more than a building. It's a people called together by God.

Today we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, hope, and resilience.

As followers of Christ, we remember that every person is created in the image of God and called to live with dignity, justice, and love. May we continue to learn from the past, celebrate the progress made, and work together toward a future marked by compassion, unity, and peace.

"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." 1 John 3:18

In observance of Juneteenth, the church office will be closed on Monday, June 22, 2026. Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and is a time to reflect on freedom, justice, and the ongoing work of reconciliation.

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23.

Jesus’ Calling: The Power of Immediate Obedience

When Jesus called Matthew, the tax collector, Scripture tells us he got up and followed immediately. No hesitation. No delay. Just response.

That moment reminds us there is something powerful about the call of Jesus. It does not always make sense to us in the moment, but it carries authority and purpose beyond what we can see.

Jesus also sent His disciples out with His authority, showing that those who respond to His call are never sent without what they need.

What might God be inviting you to respond to today, without delay?

Have you ever felt like you weren't strong enough, brave enough, or capable enough?

Moses felt that way too. When God called him to speak to Pharaoh and lead the Israelites, he was afraid. But God reminded him that he would not go alone: "I Am" was with him.

The same is true for us today. When fear, doubt, or uncertainty creep in, remember this powerful truth:

"I am who I am because I Am lives in me."

Because God lives within us, we can face challenges with courage, speak with confidence, and make a difference in the world around us.
